The Gamli Baukur in Husavik is a restaurant and café. It might be the fanciest and most famous restaurant in Husavik. It is a big and super nice furnished wooden building in the harbour of Husavik directly on the seaside. The ambiance is really beautiful and unforgettable. The quality and the taste of the food are good, but the portions

are rather small. So when you come really hungry you might need a desert afterwards. The prices are even for Iceland rather high.

There are a few toilets for men and women (not seperated). The trash bins were super full and the impression was not super nice but also not super bad. Some of the rooms are quite small, but there is also one toilet which is suitable for wheelchairs.

It is worth to go there for a coffee or a drink in the evening.
